Serene Bartoletti brings to Core-R.O.I. clients his twenty-five years of international experience with General Motors, and with his own consulting firm, Transnational Associates. With General Motors, his positions of responsibility included: Manager of Organization Development for Packard Electric's Mexican Operations; Manager of Global Excellence Initiatives for Delphi; Senior Consultant to the Global LEAN Team, as well as Manager of Strategic Planning, Training and LEAN; and Manager of IS&S Organization Planning and Development for Delphi Automotive Systems. With Transnational, he provided cross-cultural and multi-lingual consulting services to companies in Latin America and Europe, focusing particularly on work with leadership groups responsible for starting new manufacturing operations.
As an internal consultant, Serene recruited, selected, trained and positioned internal organization development consultants and trainers in nine countries throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America. As an external consultant to Fortune 500 firms, he has provided new facility staff integration and international plant start-up planning; with specific guidance / coaching in strategic planning, socio-technical systems analysis, total quality, lean manufacturing and values-based cultural change initiatives.
Serene is committed to helping organizations and their members thrive in a dynamic and complex international business environment. He is particularly adept at building bridges across cultural, language and values barriers to help diverse groups build and sustain successful businesses.
Serene is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, with an MS in Management Science, a BS in Operations Management, and an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional memberships include: the Organization Development Network, the Organization Development Registry, Society for International Education, Training and Research, and American Society of Training Directors. He is a Board Member of the Border Research Institute at University of New Mexico, and the Advisory Council for the US - Mexico Conflict Resolution Center (NAFTA-funded function located at New Mexico State University to mediate disputes arising out of commercial activities initiated under the NAFTA accord).
His clients benefit from Serene's fluency in English, Spanish, Slovenian and conversational Serbo-Croatian. Serene and his wife reside in El Paso, Texas.
