The project included organizational consulting, training, and facilitation to establish a union-management partnership, as well as executive coaching with both the company and union leaders regarding strategic and behavior issues. Collaborative union-management project teams were established throughout the organization for improving work processes, redefining and writing all unionized job descriptions, implementing consistent grievance procedures, and initiating a comprehensive safety program. We designed and conducted customized training to develop internal leadership teams, and designed and implemented organizational surveys to assess critical operational and safety needs.
